Oakland Museum of California
The Oakland Museum of California (OMCA), founded in 1969, showcases the art, history, and natural sciences of California. Formed from the merger of three museums, it presents a comprehensive view of the state’s diverse cultural and environmental heritage through its extensive collection and public programs.
Brand Values
Equity, Belonging, Collaboration, Inspiration, Courage
The goal of this rebrand was to create a visual identity system that better reflects these values while creating a more recognizable and cohesive brand identity for the museum.

Brand Identity System
I developed a cohesive brand system with a refined logo, typography, and color palette, resulting in a more recognizable and impactful brand image that represents OMCA's values.
The new identity was translated into digital and print platforms including a Website and mobile app re-design. Then I expanded the brand focusing on physical brand applications including Museum Signage, tickets, brand values banner and an OMCA button.
